Salmon Fishing :
DFO just announced that the current regulations for Chinook Salmon will continue into the new year until further notice. So for our area this means 2 Chinook Retention per day with a minimum size of 62cm.The Halibut season will come to an end as of Dec 31st.There have been some nice Chinooks coming in over the last few days, still plenty of undersize though. Reminder to not net fish if they are undersize. In the next several weeks the Chinook fishing will get better and the fish will get bigger, so try and get out if possible
Prawn Fishing
Still steady reports for Prawns,no closures as i write this report so the sooner you get out the better.
Lake Fishing
If you have been to Lois Lake recently chances are your smoker is doing its thing. Lois and surrounding lakes will all produce this time of year. Be sure to release large Cutthroat Trout, this is the gene pool for future fish..
Firearms Course
There will be no courses until March 2021 however you may still register at this time. You will need a 50 dollar cash deposit to secure your spot.Looks like we have 2 classes already filled so the longer you hold of registering the later your course will be.
