What a combination, a great stretch of weather and some amazing Chinook fishing. Still a couple weeks left until the unnecessary non-retention starts April 1st. I encourage all anglers to have a chat with your local shops and people with there boots on the ground(on the water) and a ask them how the fishing has been on the inside waters. Very frustrating that anglers cannot retain even 1 chinook not even a marked Chinook for months, absolutely unnecessary especially in the more Northern areas. Thanks to all that are trying to bring awareness about the unnecessary non-retention of Chinook Salmon.
