With the weather warming up local lakes are producing some nice Trout. Despite local lake water still being quite cold Trout have been active. Inland, Khartoum, Powell and Goat Lake have all had decent reports. Many question about Lois lake, the fish here are still very deep 60-100′ this making it hard to get to them. Lois has produced a few fish and should pick up as the weather warms up. So if you get a chance go to your favorited lake as i did and you will be glad you did. Be sure to stop in at P.R.O. for catchy local flies and worms hand picked by Juan Valdez…Sam Out!
