Powell River Outdoors annual Top Rod Derby was the best yet, with 41 boats entered and Mother Nature serving up the best Marine Weather possible. Most all anglers were rewarded with Chinook and Coho during this event, with countless Coho reports coming in. Many Chinook in the 75-80 cm range were caught, however these runs of Chinook were leaner so average weight was 11-14lbs adhering to the 62-80cm slot size regulations.
